We have a rich history. Our original firm, Lucknow Marble & Stone Works, wasestablished 100 years back in 1915 by Late Sh. Gopinath Agrawal. The ownership was later transferred in favour of his grandson, Late Sh. Skanda Kumar Agrawal. After the death of Sh. Skanda Kumar Agrawal in 1981, the following firms were established by his heirs to continue the family business:

  • Lucknow Marbles
  • Lucknow Marble Industries
  • S.K. Marbles
  • Marble Engravers

A history of the type of business carried on by us over the years is below:

Further, ornamental work (carving) was done in Marble for making temples, gravestones, statues, nameplates etc. This was also done in Mirzapur Sandstone for making temples, statues, lawn rollers, street pavers, street corner stones, kitchen implements etc.

As import of Foreign Marble was prohibited and production of Indian Marble increased; construction, carving, trading and installation of Makrana White, Albeta, Dungri, Kumari and Bundi Marble, Mirzapur Sandstone and Dholpur Sandstone started. All types of solid stone structures and civil work with ornamental work, cladding and flooring started in Indian Stone varieties.
